I would go for Iron Maiden. My fav band. Saw Black Sabbath live in June and must say they where awesome!

Iron Maiden= best band in the world
their riffs are mint
their tunes are mint
their performances are mint(having had the pleasure of seeing them twice)
they're nice guys

but no disrepect to Sabbath

I`ll say Sabbath on account that the version of Symptom Of The Universe on the Past Lives album pisses over anything Maiden ever did.

For one thing Maidens lyrics are not always based on fantasy and horror, there are also elements of polical and social comentary in their lyrics, lyrical approachs like these may be an aquired taste, but they are not bad at all...I admit i am being a little biased here, being a prog fan and all. =)

Good point, the only reason i have kept this pointless arguement going for so long is because i am really bored with nothing else to do and i need to kill time.
