the Eagles were one of the best bands in music history, a classic.
as for the song Hotel California, it was an awesome song. and if thats the basically the only song you've listened to by the Eagles, you shouldn't be so quickly to judge.

Agreed, i love the eagles, i just find it lame that somebody would blame them of all bands for corrupting americas children when bands like slayer and mayhem are ignored...It's ridiculous, just shows how ignorant and hypocritical some religious groups can be.

you know, i think its the overbearing protective manner in which these mothers raise their kids that corrupts them. my dad is a preacher, im a crazy ****up. couldnt be more different. but when i was little my parents were very strict, you know, no "secular" music (i couldnt hum "We Will Rock You" for fear of being sent to my room with a red behind) i couldnt dye my hair, had to go to church and on and on. psycho parenting will **** any kid up worse (not to mention permanently) than ozzy osbourne ever could. lucky for me, my folks layed off by the time i got to be about 16.

No disrespect to your parents Spike but i think if people are going to preach their beliefs than you and I and everyone else should be allowed to have our own values too. I'm glad you got to 16

Yeah this has to be an American thing. I don't know why, it doesn't exist in my America but these midwestern housewives with absolutly nothing to do but domestic work get together and start trying to out parent each other.

Im going to Oklahoma one day and distributing burned copies of great rock bands, im hoping to start a revolt.
