Default Krokus

Anyone heard of these guys?

I like what I've heard so far, though I think the lead singer influenced Justin Hawkins. Which is bad, but this guy is not so bad. I love the guitar in this band. Feels like early Iron Maiden-ish

Songs I have that kick started my interest:

Headhunter
Ballroom Blitz
Screaming In The Night

I find some of their stuff to sound a bit AC/DCish, but on the whole they're not too bad
Not sure if they're still active though
I'd recommend Change Of Address, Metal Rendezvous, The Blitz and Headhunter for starters, all good albums

I doubt they are. They sound like one of those bands that flowered during the 80's and then burnt out with it as well.

actually they area, a lot of thsoe type of bands are either still around, or slwoly emerging for a bit and then dsiappearing again...
it's proabbyl part of all this 80's nostalgia thing going on as a whole, not that I mind 80's nostalgia at all
I haven't heard any of their recent stuff I think they mae a new one just a few years ago but then again I heard Ratt's lead singer's latest effort, it made me shudder

Haha is that right? Well they've certainly been laying low on the promoting of their later albums in any case.

Shudder? Was it off the scales, shattering windows material?

It was jsut really really bad and I liked Ratt quite a bit back then, and still do now, but just.. ewww...
his vocals lacked, and not jsut a lot, quite a bit.. and the older songs the tempo was suually too fast or too slow, I mean I didn't want thm to sound exactly ateh same if they were legit remakes but they totally lost transition in the transfer if any of this rambling makes sense..
Oh PS Merkaba soem of your sig quotes sound familair, are they from hardcore techno, at all?
