the count bishops, teenage letter, U.K pubrock/r&b, 70t's, these boys pre date punk (1977) by about 4-5 years, ace records have 2-3 great albums of these guys, on the live one they cover the stones and chuck berry, pure raw gut r&b with a punk twist, recommend it to lovers of garage/punk...

here's a link to a cracking garage/psych podcast/download, it's a 60t's american comp, on the bluesy side, it 's the best set i've heard in this genre....

One of the best compilations ever!

Seger when he was young and wild, MC5's early feedback drenched sides, The Rationals soulful Garage, and other good tracks.

I remember shocking some friends with the Seger sides years back when I played it on regular rotation in my car (had a Cass. - Now long gone). At the time, they only knew of his 80's stuff as it was the time of "Shakedown" and when I played "East Side Story," their jaws dropped.
