It's weird how different the four are from each other, and they still managed to stand each other for more than 10 years. What's even weirder is that these four guys became somehow famous (thank god for Brian Epstein).

Paul can seem somehow bossy and arrogant, but that's because he's the complete opposite of the other three. He's the most productive one (not necessarily in quality, but that guy can't stop working), and faced with the other lazy three, crashes were bound to happen. That guy's passionate about doing concerts, albums and movie projects, when the others just hate exactly these things. Ringo just want to be with the guys, and I think that's why he stayed with them, I'm sure the music wasn't part of it. As for Harrison and Lennon, these guys are just screwed up and messed up all around. It's like they're on top of the world and they still can't understand what the hell they were doing there. Lennon's my favorite, cause unfortunately it's the one I find myself in. George is my second favorite, he's just too spiritual for my liking.

What do you think that they were supposed to be doing? They made an incredibly large amount of amazing songs. I think they understood perfectly well, what they were doing.

It's a toss-up between John and George. John wrote some great experimental songs like "Tomorrow Never Knows" and "A Day in the Life", and I like his singing voice the best for some reason. George also wrote some great songs like "Within You, Without You" and "While My Guitar Gently Weeps", and his solo career is the best out of the four of them. Both trounce Paul and Ringo any day (to be fair, Ringo was a good drummer, but his songwriting sucks).

The majority of my favourite Beatles songs were probably written by John Lennon. I'm in no position to be judging any of The Beatles' solo careers as i only have bits of pieces here and there but from what i've heard John's material post-Beatles has been my favourite too.

Some day i will get more of Harrisons though, because i have a feeling i may just change my mind on their solo material.

It's so hard to chose! They're all so full of talent.

It's hard to choose. Paul is definitely the most talented musician. He created some great melodies. Even though he's pigeon-holed as the pop-writer, was experimental as well i.e. A Day in the Life and Eleanor Rigby, though perhaps a bit more subtle than John.

George and John are a toss-up as my favorite. They were both searching for their true selves. George brought a sense of worldliness to the Beatles while John was a bit more avant-garde. I can identify with both of them through their music, moreso than Paul.

Ringo is a likeable guy and a bit under-appreciated as a drummer.

Paul was certainly the energy of the group and wrote some of their most memorable songs. John was pure brilliance but my personal fav was certainly George, very spiritual and had to fight to get his songs on the albums and the songs that he had on those albums were quite simply gems, its no small matter, that so many groups and singers out there have covered his Beatles work.
