Early 90's is considered classic rock on some stations. Plus, Will allows them.

Yes. They get heavy radio play on classic rock radio stations out here.

Nirvana isn't classic rock an neither is The Smiths. If they were, they'd be my 1-2, but they're not, so they're not. I'm only including bands/artists that have that "classic rock" sound. Omits are Iggy Pop, Deep Purple, Captain Beefheart and his MB, Nick Drake, and Can. Actually, I don't know what I'm talking about. Just add up my tallys.

1. Pink Floyd
2. David Bowie
3. The Zombies
4. The Beatles
5. Led Zeppelin
6. Bob Dylan
7. Jethro Tull
8. The Kinks
9. T. Rex
10. Simon and Garfunkel

People, let this be a reminder that even moderators are susceptible to epic fails.

I've not heard David Bowie once on a classic rock radio station prior to his death.

I don't let classic rock stations determine what I consider to be classic rock hence the Nirvana and Smiths comments but you're f*cking retarded.

I guess it might be because I don't think "rock" when I think of David Bowie. I've always seen him more as a pop artist. Not saying he doesn't make any rock music though.
