Default Which Kaleidoscope is better

There were two classic bands active in the late sixties. There was a band from California named Kaleidoscope which was essentially in more of a folk psychedelic vein. They recorded four albums between 1966 and 1970. I'm familiar with the first two. Anyhow check this out.

Then there was a band known as Kaleidoscope from the UK from around the same period. They too were psychedelic but they of more of a paisley pop vein. At times they could get a little spacey. They recorded only two albums. This is my favorite song from them.

So which one's better? I would have started a poll but I didn't want to have to include the Starland Vocal Band

Only heard of the latter, but I’ll make sure to check out the former.

There was also a third band performing & recording under that name in the late 60's...

Kaleidoscope - Kaleidoscope (1969)

Cool. Now we have three choices.

Do you have any background on these guys, Psy-Fi? They sound great too.

Good interview and background info from one of the band members here...

It's Psychedelic Baby Magazine: Kaleidoscope interview with Francisco Tirado

Nice interview. Too bad they couldn't have done more than one album.
