Default Fade (The Snow Will End Us)

I was bored. It was snowing. And this is the **** result of it. Tut. I'd really like some feedback, though.

--

Fade (The Snow Will End Us)
(c)2005 Lexxi Stone

Its snows and then it fades
And then it snows again and covers the spots.
And we think everything will be ok.

*dramatic piano*

But it wont be (no it won't be)
Because its cold outside. (Because its cold outside)

And the snow keeps on falling.
Until it fades. (fades)
And then it comes again
Only to cover what was left behind.

Left Behind.

The Snow Will End Us (oh it will end us)
Because it's cold outside (Because it's cold outside)
And what is covered fades again. (fades again)

Fades again.
Fades again.
Fades again.

*guitar solo*

The Snow Will End Us.
The Snow Will End Us!

Will End Us.

Oh...It will certainly end us.

Now fade. (fade)

End Us.

End Us.

*end guitar....piano take 10 second fading solo.*

if this was about nuclear winter, and you tied it to it more concretely, you could swing it, your "dramatic piano" part really makes it hard to take seriously.

yeah well if we sat around taking pot shots at things that weren't supposed to be credible to begin with it would get old third post in.

Nice idea, maybe you could turn it into a meaningful song from a banal starting point! Actually, this doesn't seem to be an unrealistic idea - I'm pretty sure that this is how most modern art works, with some artist throwing eggs and ants at a canvass then inventing some completely bizarre and unrelated meaning, "the futility or birth" for example, to attach to the mess which they've created. I'm not calling your lyrics a mess by the way, MadeinNY!
