if the person "takes off their coat", then what "warmth" are they going to have against the "cold" world? & where did growing up come into this?

drinking is a curse my brothers. some lines could be changed though.
turn off the light after nine- kinda childish in a way, i dunno felt wierd.

& i know the song was meant for someone, not for yourself, but that particular part still sounds like you're comforting yourself...if its meant to comfort the other person, shouldnt it be something along the terms of...
