Does anybody here use Cubase (esp. SX)
If you do, can you tell me how you change the MIDI sound for playing back scores from a piano or drumkit to anything else? At the moment I'm stuck with a little piano sound, but I want to get into synth territory...
The people who make cubase have done a fine job of not giving me the information I need to get basic recordings done, while giving me lots of information about how to use make the recordings (which they haven't told you how to do) sound more fancy.
