I'll question your authority, you'll slap me down, I'll ask you questions, you'll answer me in silence, You ask me to come along when I strike a nerve, Remind me ignorance is truly a bliss, I say your Goddamn politics ruined any peace I once had, You shut me in a room, and force feed me every Rule, just give me a fucking pen and i'll be free, But the most powerful poems are usually firestarters, I could waste my time asking for human rights, Loving a boy, but being force to marry a woman, I'll fight with my pen and guitar, and you can't Shut me up forever, i'll speak my thoughts, I'll fight with words and peace, You'll fight with laws and guns, I've dove too deep into the works of poets, I'm running short on breath, Just give me a fucking pen. And the rebellion will never end. it reminds me of another song I've hear before.... or at least remind me of them.. like a new Sam Roberts song.. I can see a bit in that.. with the guitar talk bit. the part 'i'll be the student if you'll be my teacher' sounds like i've heard it in another song.. but other then those two bits, I like it alot.. very well done ethan.. good work
