Returned with a plan (mic, talented, songs, Guitars, cheap)

Okay so, I've returned yadayadayada... hello hello hello..

But what I want to suggest to all you musicians/songwriters out there is that we create a little MB medley. We had the collabs thread where we already dabbled with this, but why not go the full way? Have some people on guitars etc. someone singing then others writing the songs... we could make a proper go of this people! I think the fact that we all have such diverse tastes and styles will only make this better. I have wrote many songs on my time away, some I really like but will only contribute to for a project like this as they are pretty personal.

I have no musical talent so I wouldn't mind doing the songwriting honours, or even singing.

Someone please reply to this, I think it's a pretty cool idea. Nobody else probably thinks so, but I'll stick my neck out there and see what **** happens.

Are they talented people who can be arsed though. That's the thing. I think everyone with an interest can be involved at somepoint. We could even make a regular thing out of this if all goes well.

I got a real cool mic the other day for 6 quid which lets me jump around while recording, unlike my other one. Sounds sad but I need to feel the energy. They are cheap now, surely you can just run out and get one!
And if not write us a song for the occasion

I, extremely broke, and my money when comes is typically wasted on other things =/. So i'll stick with the writing.

Holiday for 2 weeks. It feels like an age for me to, being inside a caravan with nothing but a mobile phone for communication outside of your fellow holidayers isn't a nice thing to have happen to you.

Then again, I did get a ****load of money for my troubles which lead to a ****load of clothes etc. Oh, and if Fal reads this, THE BEADS BROKE!

I've got a good way to do this then, we'll have options open to people and wait for people to fill those slots....so....

Lead guitarist:

Drums:

Keyboard:

Songwriter: hobojesus

Of course we don't need all of these, but we need at least 3, I'm hoping we'll get four on board really. So sign up simpletons!

I can play guitar and bass and the drummer in my band (draxus) has all of our good recording equipment at his house so I've got a good drummer in my back pocket. What kind of guitar stuff are you looking for?

I was thinking we get a guitar riff first, then work from that. Just do anything you feel, as long as it has a rythm to it and would be easy to produce upon. Send me it when you've done and I'll put it all into Audacity and compile everything everyone has done.
