Song Writing Forum's Greatest Hits (lyrics, album, The Smiths, quote)

I think that there are so few of us on here that we should try to pull some more MB'ers in here. I think we should come up with a list of songs that we think have made the most impact or would have the most impact on the other MB'ers. I bet if those collabs went through, we could actually have an MB short album demo or something. So how should we go about this?

I put forward The Smiths, How soon is now. A marmitie song you will either hate or think it is the best thing since sliced bread (probably).

You get the lyrics together, and then once you've figured out which songs you're using you write the chords/etc. for them

I'd be down with the lyrical side of it, still havn't bought a new mic & I kind of doubt i'm going to what with my lack of money.

I'm shocked dontrunmeover and hobo havn't replied yet =/. Moses could probaly get involved also.

hey im new to this but if you all got the best songs couldnt you get them recorded even if they are just home with something like cool edit or something and then have them all put up on a site like purevolume or something? just a suggestion
