I never cared much for songs that dealt with love being lost, or suicide, or any songs talking about some petty problem. Definitely can't stand songs where lyrics don't mean anything and are just there as filler (This is every song played over the intercom at my work. Ugh).

I like songs that are about power, and how it is used. Songs about strength. Songs against apathy....... And, of course, songs with swords and maces! I'm a sucker for teh steel. hehe.

But then again, I'm still really dense when it comes to interpreting lyrics. I've been getting better at understanding them and writing them, but now and then I come across something that I can't translate.
