Pursued forever by the light
A measure of time and chance
Scratched deftly in concrete walls
For a conquest of divinity
Is merely a push to advance
But in the night another breath
Can be merely misguided protest
A chance to live once more
Through suffering and death
But let the dog years begin
As they stand on their pedestals
And the whisperings reveal
That March is here
Stab forth through your bunkers
Set trip wires in the mountains
Scatter your words like ashes
Over a ruined countryside
