The Sun & The Moon (dancing, Kiss, effect, songs)

This is about a few things, the fragileness of a sort of relationship, realizing you don't know her that well, I guess an examination of a relationship... not knowing if shes actually there during really difficult times...It sort of rambles, i've been listening to alot of bright eyes.

The Sun & The Moon

So now my fingers are dancing between a pen and a bottle,
Writing pages that will eventually be thrown away,
I've been penning these first lines so long i've forgotten what they mean,
So i'll behind a metaphor and more pretty imagery.

I ponder the beauty of the sun and the moon for what they are,
Some times, at the right time its like they kiss,
But they're always so far apart.

So my mind it tries to grasp these words,
But these twisted fantasies of you and I,
Are impossible to hold, its like water in my hands,
It eventually falls and gets swallowed by the sand.

I ponder the beauty of the sun and the moon for what they are,

But they're always so far apart.

So now my fingers are left onto a bottle,
I'm watching a skyline but why even bother,
These bottles they're left sitting in the dark,
And I wonder, when did we ever start?

Yeah hey I like this one a lot, I have a lot of trouble with the line

"The sun and the moon how beautiful they are"

Man that seems as contrived as anything could be - maybe something a little bit more intricate like...

"I ponder the beauty of the sun and the moon for what they are"

something to that effect... but it's not bad... it's just ... oh hey, I've heard that line in 90000 songs before, even if I really haven't.

I'll go with that for now till I think of something else, or I may not think of something else but w/e its better then the original.
