Default a happy day

then you pay, feel like shit the morning after.

rip

I remember when I saw a songbird singing on a february morning,
I fell in love so quickly, and the storms were all kept away,
And it seemed like this peace i'd found would never leave,
As I laid there in the protection of your wings.

And when you told me I was wonderful,
That the north lights had nothing on my eyes,
I believed every single word,
And I guess thats why this hurts,
All those visions I had carved,
The dreams we'd crafted,
Well somebody's not paying attention,
To what they promised
And their word, isn't good.

And now I have to start moving on again,
As I recall all those nights we stayed up talking,
Your voice was the prettiest thing i'd ever heard,
Oh when you sung it was like the prettiest sunrise
That could have ever been seen.

But now you've flown south on me,
And I can longer hide in your wings,
And never seek solace in the words you sing,
Oh and i'm too weak to catch you,
So won't come back this spring.
