this is kind of going to be my poetry thread while im gone, since i have no more notebooks and won't for who knows how long
Up all night and i'm still falling down reaching up for heaven but i can't Seem to get my fill and these crow kisses are just echoes of a memory. The sky lays big and beautiful, so red as if the night had been cut wide, Like shovels breaking the ground widening these glowing mouths that dream But never speak, and this day so damaged when clouds come across But see the crack where the sun broke through? It reminds me of a shell I found on the shore, and in it I hear your voice singing from afar, And I look, and the stars are coming out i've been longing for so long, My life, seems to be a shaky mess but you're a steady hand and you Made me want to draw breath again, and you pulled the gauze off my Wounds and showed no blood was there, and I decided from then on My bird deserves the best life for showing me roses do not die, And as I think of you I know, green still means go. Warm within a river we tread water but still I feel myself slipping, You know I could never swim well and its becoming clear as other Arms sweep in that lost is just where I always begin, As these words trail around my skin and lines drag me under I wonder when I got a cleverly arranged metaphor confused With a life jacket. We seem to have lost our heads, just grab for this bent light, Trace the curves of a rainbow and find yourself on a different Stream of color, lord knows it comes and goes with the rain, But at least you can float along just for a day. In a garden row, there laid a rose which slowly froze and died alone. Now all the birds they don't sing, because they know its pointless. So now I sit here and draw hearts on my window, but you'll never know. Because they always fade away. Paintings are so pretty, but the funny part is the artist is so ugly. Even before Van Gogh was so devishly deformed he probably wasn't much of a looker.

Alright, this songs about how me and my girlfriend have sex everywhere, every year, every month, every week, every day, every hour, every minute, every second. This isn't like my usual stuff, i'm pretty goddamn proud to say it. Lately my writing has been going well, in the past few months its felt like, well like when your favorite band begins to get old, and all the sudden you hear a new album by them and the magics back. I've been listening to alot of Blake Sennett, mainly Sun, Sun, Sun it kind reflects that here.
Pardon any spelling errors, this computer doesn't have spell check. I Can Safely Say By Your Side Is Where I'll Forever Lay We as strangers in an August town, waiting to peform For a packed house, I asked you for a tuner my bottom String was sounding funny, and you said you knew what was wrong, So I sat on that amp with you, and the night ended in white fireworks, And a song just for me and you. We spent the summer in an april town, staying up together, Watching late night tv, and the heat finally got to us, We went to lay down, and we sang some more songs, As I laid some verses down, and these words seemed to form, And circle around me and you, and hey, you know what they Say about people like us, who lay our songs down, When the last touch is sung. And now here w e lay, in some Seattle bed, and we spent so Much time, thinking of how much we'd given up, and you know When i'm laying here in you, I know every loss was worth it, Cause now I have you.

Congrats, I Miss You
Laying awake and shivering as I recall a parade and I think laying where we hid We found our fate amongst the lace as I recall the goodbyes And the july night when we made our last memories for what seemed forever As I feel shock break through me like a cold wave of air on a California night That still puts ice in your spine months after it hit you for the only time And when I touched your lips I guess its goodbye. While I dream of your eyes gray with splashes of blue and flecks of green I want to see you catch the kiss on your lips I send you every night on the wind And feel you crash like waves against me I want to feel more then the pain of missing you again I want to open the door and fall into your embrace as you welcome me home with a kiss.

The moonlight is weaving through and it follows our footsteps through the grass and our feet lay down on a hillside leaving prints of a night that we'll always remember though when the grass grows back, nature will just forget like the wind soons forgets the cry of a child.
