We lay warm in a circle that keeps our worlds apart
And the songbirds broke their wings when they laid in someone else's nest When he kissed their beaks, they broke open to never sing again, Can't seem to open up, can't seem to speak, hands waving A goodbye, a drowning fear of water i'm asking for your help Because all these lines will only last a second then the smoke will clear And you'll see me for what I am, a silly boy in a silly coffin Sitting in silence, with my hands folded neatly in my lap The velvet pillow pulled back, your eyes like the sun are making me blush, But I just wanted to watch the sunrise when you woke up, And these sleepless walls seem to be singing old songs, Obla-Di Obla-Da life goes on.
