Racing to the bottom

"Time to Think" White and empty like blank space. Gray, and promising; full; pensive. Celery stick Thread on sticky web. Spider, slanted, falling, Choking the yoke. York; New England Cork in eye. I think but am I? Am tired, yes. Am, are, was? Lord, I am drunk. Another tally on the Black (gray?) board. White calcium sulfate Chalk (tape?); body, ground. Phosphorous; flashes, Leave me, I am intoxicated. -Jake V. P.S. Please respond. Perhaps you can figure out what's going on in the poem as well.
