Okay so I want to convert this song to a hip hop track. Am I going to need to write new verses and how am I going to get a beat? Is anybody a producer here?

how would anyone know whether or not you need to write new verses? it's YOUR cover idea after all.

you get a beat by making one up. or finding a clean break during the song and sampling it for a backing track.

This seems like a pretty bad idea for a song to cover because the original version is so unique. It's difficult to see how you could rework it without it becoming a whole lot more bland.
