You'll Never Read This.
Your lips are the spring rain
Weeping endless beauty,
Bringing life again.
Your eyes are the heavens
The only saving grace,
I've ever seen.
And after all these years
We've cried a thousand tears,
But distance still got the better of us.
Your nose is the key
To the other side,
I've walked towards it
All my life.
Your tongue is a fire
Warming me to death,
It's surprising
And pointing all the wrong ways,
It signals for me to bow down
But never while you're around.
Your throat is the empty space
Unexplored and out of my way,
A home for lost souls
Where a tongue has yet to know,
How to form the words
To shatter my world.
Your hair is the ever lit sun
Burning away the things,
I'd never dare to say.
And after all this hate
The devil's still knocking on my door,
Asking me to come to a death
Only I can understand,
But I watch the doves leave your hands,
For your arms are the shelter
To fight away the cold.
Your legs are wings
An angel's own,
To flee from all of life's awful things
That you never deserve to see.
Your body is the holy trinity
A figure of envy.
You're an angel,
You're seven hundred and seventy seven times
More beautiful than anything
On god's green earth.
I've been gagged by your beauty
Choked by your love,
I've been killed by you
But that still isn't enough.
I've forgotten how to sleep
Without your face in my mind,
And you're so precious
I hope you haunt me for all time,
For I have nowhere left to turn,
You're the world's only wonder.
And god himself weeps the rain,
For no beauty he made compared
To you.
