Online Band?

I'm not sure if this is in the right section, I apologize if it isn't I'm new to the forum and it's 5:30 in the morning.
I was wondering if anyone was interested in doing an online music project.
I'm up for anything from acoustic to punk rock, although I'd prefer more acoustic, Dashboard Confessional/Brand New kind of style stuff right now but whatever is fine really.
I can play guitar and piano, if anyone can provide vocals, lyrics, and bass that would be great.

Heya, welcome to Music banter

We've tried to accomplish some kind of online collaboration between all the musicians here several times but we've never actually gone right through with it :/ I'd be up for collaborating with other people online though, it's lots of fun. Maybe if you stick around the forum others might show some interest or we might finally do something...

I'm a vocalist, harmonica player and lyricist. I do mostly Heavy Rock and Psychedelic Rock but I also like doing acoustic songs. I'm up for it.

Yeah I've had several failed projects as well.
Alright, it'd be great to work with you if you're interested. What would you do? Vocals? Lyrics? Instrument?

it would be a kick ass project to get a lot of different people collaborating...each person who is interested takes a song and makes it their own and see how things end up.

I'm not sure about the doing whole songs on our own thing but I definitely like the idea of having other people work on a song or two.

That's fine.
Basically after discussing and writing and more discussing we record our parts and put them together using some sort of program. Of course there could be some trial and error in order to get the rhythms and tempos all matched up but I think that is pretty much it.

Alright sounds good, what do you play?? Or are you a lyricist/vocalist?
