Feedback for my music, please.

It's definitely simple. I'm not trying to blow anyone away with complexity. I just started messing around and I liked the feel of it. This is one of my first songs, so, not bad for a beginner?

Here's another one, or actually the only other one I've written. What you guys think?

Wow. I like this one better than the first, definitely. Great feel to it, and feels more like a real song. Enjoy the country/blues feel it's got. Good work!

It's definitely more complete. I've been working on the guitar solo but I really need my interface before I can get something sounding good for it

It definely needs a lot of work. Thats a weak mix. I need to get my interface, badly. Does the rhythm come in to soon? I was going for a fast transisition but I'm not sure if I like the way that sounds. But like I said, it's a very rough mix. I tried to add more chords thought the first part, but it was hard to get anything that sounded good.

Maybe a key change, middle eight...something to change direction a bit. But KEEP ON IT.

Well honestly, I don't know what I'm onto either. As I mentioned, I'm a beginner at songwriting. I've been practicing for a while, learning other people's music. I'm pretty good at that, but lately I've been trying to write my own music. So be easy on me, I'm new to it. But I thank you for the encouragement. Which piece were you referring to? Both?
