Both of you have a tendency to keep the same rhyme the entire song, if you play with that a bit it will become less 'the cat was on the mat…' like, and be more interesting.
Other than that, I really like them both, they are written with feeling.

i also write lyrics and stuff and like you english isn't my main language but the more you familiarize yourself with it hopefully you'll get better, that's how i did it ofc my english is still terrible just plz never write 'YOLO' again ever under any circumstance.
