Back To The World (country, Hang)

Back To The World

You're wasting away your day
Your gray hair is fading.
The remaining hairs tell a story,
About the time you once had a head.

Those with influence seem stagnant,
Like the sand on they beach in which they lie.

It's been seven years since progress has been made.
Oh, we have changed, but change doesn't force progress.
It seems we're made to regress, next we'll revert back to Hammurabi's Code.

I think it's time to let go of that one grain of sand,
And take a look at the rest of the beach.
It's time to get back to the world
And away from meaningless conquests.
It's time to fix something, anything.

uh, yeah, thx for the sig. there. at least you abbreviated the name. *sigh*
anyway, the poem doesn't seem too bad. It seems to be about Bush, and it's interesting how they say people embody the president in office w/ their behavior, bcuz I think a lot of people do just blindly follow the guy in office, and how the heck did over 50% of our country vote for that loser, oh, that's right we didn't
