Titles Are For Creative People

At the center of a distant star
Lies a boy holding a broken guitar,
And three or five shots after he strums
A chord, he wonders what hes really learned at all,
So he decides to lay his life onto a piece of paper,
And as the words begin to form,
His speech steadily begins to slur,
And he wakes up in the morning,
To find hes written nothing at all.

So he tries instead to draw last nights dream,
But there was no memory to see,
So instead he tried to write of a girl,
And how her eyes seem to paint his sky,
But the horizon is slowly bleeding,
Becoming night.

So he just sits down and decides,
To put off another blurry night,
But as his thoughts begin to form,
He realizes that he could never write.
