as a habs fan this is normally where i would try to bring you down but you guys genuinely deserved it, congrats. that team has a bright future.

If memory serves, no Canadian teams made the post-season in the past 2 years, this year the Habs, Sens and Leafs are in in the East and the Flames and Oilers qualified in the West. This is as it should be.

Caps, Pens, Rangers and Bruins advance in the east, Hawks, Wild, Ducks and Sharks move on in the west.

Traditionally, my picks aren't much better than calling coin flips, so do with this as you will...

Agreed on the Eastern Conference. I don't know the Western well enough to make a prediction.

This Leafs-Caps series is the best hockey I've seen since the 2010 Olympics. Three straight overtime games...

Well, with only the Caps/Leafs undecided the best I can do (should the Caps hold on) is .500. I honestly don't know why I even bother trying to call these series. I certainly didn't see the Hawks being swept.
