Im so choked that Detroit is even better now. Hate it.
Vancouver, we havent done too much yet. Im lookin forward to seeing Bernier skate as a Nuck though. I loved watching him in the world juniors a couple years back.

That sucks. I think the Pens were one of the franchises he was interested in playing for. I guess the Rangers needed someone to cover Straka after he headed back to the good ol' Czech Republic and Jagr went to the Russian league.

Seems likely they will cruise into the playoffs as the number one seed again and the favorite for the cup.

Pittsburgh should be better just because the kids get older.

Chicago looks ready to emerge.

Anaheim and San Jose could both bounce back.

And I think the Flames are going to be in the conference finals against the Wings.

I like New Jersey a lot but I think that the Habs are due for a run and based on nothing but their roster I'll take them as my Eastern pick for 08-09.
