Well, music shouldn't be listened to during training at all but if you must... anything by rage against the machine, rise against, or even rammstein haha

Yea music really isnt for that. Iv dont karate for 7-8 years and trust me, you need to listen when you get your ass kicked, not be listening to De La Rocha scream about the police.

Ok... I guess it's a matter of opinion!!!

I would have been training about the same amount of time as yourself RezZ, and partake in musical events such as the W.O.M.A.A. Peace Games Musical Forms. They are great!!! Our school love music to training! Especially a bit of Tiesto when it comes to our Squad Eireann training...

RezZ where do you train? PM me if you want...

We have a large martial arts school, and find music creates an ambiance. We would play some Tony Scott or music from films eg. Crouching Tiger in the lobby... I'm just looking for some other suggestions!

Nightstrikes, they are good suggestions also, Thank you!!! Don't think I agree with you on the "shouldn't be listened to" idea but then each to their own! We are more of a modern dojo anyways!!! PM me if you want.

So if anyone DOES actually enjoy training to music or uses music in the reception area or lobby for ambiance, could you suggest something please? Or PM me if you want and I'll send you my chat info!

It depends on the martial art you are doing. If it's a "soft" martial art, it's recommended to listen to "soft" music. But if it's "hard", then you should listen to stuff like metal and rock. It really depends.

There is only one song you need to listen to. Just loop it. The Immortals - Mortal Kombat.
