Default Snowboarding

Anyone into it? I have 4 snowboards (I can post them if you want), 3 pairs of bindings and loads of other stuff  I like everything you can do on a snowboard. Freestyle, carving, freeriding (I really love it. Especially in Italy), whatever.

I grew up with slalom, although it's been quite a while since I did that now. I've tried snowboard a few times and I took to it relatively quick. I sometimes missed the control and speed that I have on skis and of course, I can't do jumps worth **** .. Still great fun, though.

Yeah, but 90% people start learning riding the snowboard and give up during first 5 sessions because they think it's impossible and they aren't able to even stand on it. And the kids that think "Oh, I want to be like Shaun White" and try to do crazy jumps are just funny

I love snowboarding, been a few times now. Was so tempted to by gear the other day, but it really helps when you have money. I'm only a couple of hours away from a decent Ski Field so will be hitting the slopes this winter for sure.

Started off with a cheap snowboard from Target and worked up a little bit. Graduated to being semi-decent, and went out and bought a Burton Cruzer, Flow bindings, and some cheap boots. The thing rides beautifully. I can catch a little air here and there, but my favorite is just finding a steep hill and pointing my nose down. I've only been in Tahoe- but Mammoth and Whistler are both in my future plans!

Ive been to a few places in Colorado and Swiss Valley. Swiss is the nearest place to my house and it's so small compared to the ones in Colorado. I have been to Whistler. It's awesome. I really like going there.
