'West Ham have completed the sensational double signing of Carlos Tevez and Javier Mascherano from Corinthians on permanent contracts.
The Argentinian duo, who both starred for their country at the World Cup this summer, move to Upton Park for undisclosed fees. A statement on the West Ham website read: "The transfers represent a massive coup for the Hammers, who have beaten off some of Europe's biggest clubs to secure the services of the duo." "The pair have been signed for an undisclosed fee and put pen to paper on permanent contracts with the Club this afternoon. "All other aspects of the transfers will remain confidential and undisclosed." Bloody hell , never saw that coming. Last I heard it was Man Utd & Arsenal looking at those 2. |

The plot thickens;
This from 'State Of The Game'... My suspicions lead me to a somewhat shadier deal being cooked up between the players’ club Corinthians, their owners MSI and another club with shady links to MSI and their owners. It’s long been rumoured that Roman Abramovich is the money man behind MSI and the reason that a broke Brazilian club like Corinthians could afford players like Tevez and Mascherano in the first place. It leaves no doubt in my mind that Chelsea and Roman are behind this proposed season long loan deal for the two Argentinians to West Ham and it’s only for one purpose - to acclimatise the players to London and the Premiership and see whether they are worth signing for Chelsea properly next summer. Will the shit hit the fan??? |

I know there`s a rule saying you can`t have a stake in 2 clubs but I think thats UEFA rules rather than FIFA.It`s not as if Chelsea & Corinthians are ever going to play each other in any competitions.They`ve already investigated Abramovitch over something like this for having a stake in one of the Moscow clubs , but he was just the owner of the company that their shirts sponsered & it was thrown out.
In other news ..... Swindon have finally received Football League approval to complete the signing of midfielder Paul Ince. The 38-year-old former England international has put pen to paper on a one-year deal at the County Ground. Ince told the club website: "It was a major decision for me, but I felt that coming to Swindon was the right move. "I came to the game against Stockport and there was a buzz around the place. The atmosphere was fantastic and that made my decision for me." ![]() |

It was touch & go for a while , we were involved with a tug of war with him with the likes of the mighty Crewe Alexandria & Hartlepool.
I hope he turns out better than out last big over the hill signing , that useless fat twat known as Neil Ruddock who almost caused the club to go into liquidation single handedly. |
