To be fair re: the Gala post, I can understand why he'd feel that way considering what they did. If that was Villa I would be pissed off as well.

Anyway said it before football violence is sad as fuck, imagine being a child going to the match with your dad seeing that, or getting caught up with all the fat Daves throwing bottles and punching each other.

And it's counter productive as well, you're right about the reputation English fans have abroad - why add to it? All that happens is allocations get cut and police become even more heavy handed than they already are.

It was nice while it lasted. What a piss-poor performance!

Terrible week all told:

Chelsea win and their fans sing "We are stay-ing up!"

Man City thrashed by Liverpool, lose top spot
Man U grab last-second winner, luckily don't go top yet
Villa trounced and hammered into the Championship hole, from which they will probably never emerge

The only really bright spot was Vardy equalling the Premiership record set by Van Nistelroy. Who will bet against him smashing it next week?

Played 13 games, won 5 points (one win two draws).

We have six matches left for this year and then we're at 19 matches played (exactly halfway).

We must win at least three of our next six matches and even that would only take us to 14 points. A quick look at those six matches and even winning two of them would be generous.

We will need at least 35 points more than likely, so that's ten wins from 25 games, at least.

Can't see it happening with no Benteke. We have no goals in the squad. I'm not just being pessimistic either, looking at the numbers it is slowly dawning on me how unlikely this is going to be.

Jack has been dropped to the u21s after presumably another piss up. Seems like he is going down the wrong path. A shame. He has been chit this season.

Jesus ****ing Christ on toast! Did you see us?? Gave the ball away what, eight minutes in, they score, then we get a goal and THEN score a ****ing own goal! We do not deserve to be in the Premiership. Maybe when (not if) we go down, jettison some of these useless ****s, get some humility, not think it's our god-given right to be in the top tier, work hard to get back up, we might (might) make it back in next season, though I wouldn't be surprised if we were again fighting for our lives in the Championship! ****ing disgraceful! Talk about Newcastle not giving a toss??

Lerner ought to be ashamed of himself. Needs to do the right thing and cut his losses, we will not achieve anything under him.
