I've been won over to "football" working in an English pub ( ok, I know is a SCOUSE PUB, but save it for someone who knows what the F**K you're talking about) I don't understand the finer elements of the game, but I'm growing to like it.

I don't think Hull will do a Derby. I think Stoke look even worse than Derby ever did

Famous last words eh? lol. We have bought Milner today which makes it 8 signings this summer and apparently one more is in the offing. If we can tighten our defence then we could be going places.

Real Madrid forward Robinho has reiterated his desire to leave the Spanish champions and join Chelsea before the end of the transfer window.

Chelsea have until midnight on Monday to sign the 24-year-old Brazilian, who has told a press conference that he is intent on moving to west London.

However, Real have reacted angrily to Robinho's comments and attacked Chelsea's public pursuit of the player.

"Real deplore the way Chelsea's directors have acted despite knowing perfectly well the decision not to sell the player, making statements and even going so far as to sell shirts with the player's name on through their official website." BBC News

The tension has been rising all day and increasing by the minute as the time grows nearer to the midnight transfer deadline.
Will United buy Berbatov, or will City jump in and steal him from under our noses with the new money from their Arab buyers...or will, as reported, Real Madrid snatch him away at the last minute?
