Default Teach Me about Cubase

I'm going to get the cubase software soon, but I need to know if the interface comes with the software or if it's sold seperately. If it is sold seperate, what kind of interface works well with, let's say, Cubase 4.

Dude, if you're buying Cubase, it will tell you if it comes with an audio interface. If it doesn't say so, then you need to buy one.

Generally, you'll need an interface that supports your needs such as how many inputs and outputs and whether you need a pre-amp for microphones, etc...

What is going to be your application for the setup?

Cubase doesn't come w/ an interface. There may or may not be an interface that offers a limited version of Cubase as part of a bundle. I doubt it. Just get a Digidesign M-box and run Pro-tools.

Cubase LE comes with both the Firebox and the Firepod ($200 or $500 and 2 or 8 channels each). I use the Firepod and they work well together.
