Do they turn your fingers black when you play?

Not really they start to look kinda dirtyish but not completely black. They are starting to feel kinda rusty (only adjective i can think to fit it) so ima switch them out pretty soon. U think ernie balls are good? and if so wich kind of ernie ball?

For Electric guitar it's Dean Markeleys every time, for acoustic, Martin bronze with a wound 3rd, and for bass usually Elites or Rotosound can't be beaten.

Basses are nice because you rarely have to replace strings. I can't imagine someone breaking the E-string.

I usually play Dean Markley Custom gauge (Light E,A,D heavy G,B,E), but I pretty much reccomend anything except for Elixirs. They're great if you don't like changing strings, but the coating on them dampens the tone and makes them sound dull IMO.
