I still stick with drums because it gives the beat of what you need to sing to.

you dont need drums to sing to..think of all the acoustic bands..with no backings.

I don't know why keyboard's a poll option.... how can anyone think a keyboard is the most important in a band (in terms of an ordinary, average group)....

^ Besides you can barely even hear keyboards most of the time. Sometimes you can but you have to listen pretty hard.
