Jamerson's bass playing with The Funk Brothers saw them get more number one hits than the Beach Boys, the Rolling Stones, Elvis and the Beatles combined!

Which obviously everyone has.

Take the first one on that list.
My Girl by the Temptations. Ask anyone how that song goes and the chances are they'll 'der' the bass line intro instead of singing the opening lyrics.
On a note of interest Geddy Lee is a great admirer of Jamerson.
I'll even argue that he's the most influential bass player ever.
I was of course being sarcastic, your list is alone is an untouchable resume to be sure.

Did anyone here mention Bob Babbitt?

Temptations, Spinners, Smokey Robinson, Taj Mahal, Elton John, etc... the list goes on.

Oh yeah, and he does an awesome Jamerson "impersonation".

Motown producer Norman Whitfield preferred him over Jamerson. (the man was obviously tone deaf.)

Favourite Babbitt contribution...'War' by Edwin Starr.
