I saw Arrested Development live and there was this dude that played bass with them. The craziest bass player i've seen. Played the thing like an electric guitar.

The cat from The Who was pretty good, although I'm not a big Who fan.

And I wouldn't call Matt Sharp an amazing bass player, but his work on Pinkerton sounds pretty cool to me.
