Your probably right. I think i probably seem to think it sounds better or whatnot mainly because it just looks so damn nice. And for me the show put on is almost as important as the music at a concert. Its all about the atmosphere and that guitar definitely contributes to a solid atmosphere.

Fender Jags:
really? that purpose seems bizarre as they have a sharp think tone.... not the warm roundness of a traditional jazz guitar everyone i know who has one plays it through some kind of fuzz box and plays either a bit of guitar in a synth based band or in an alt rock band they were huge in the 90's with the grunge crowd.

THats true, but jazz tone is a strange beast. The warm thick tone you'd expect from jazz would SEEM to be found most often in Valve amps, would it not?
And yet, look at most professional jazz rigs, and the amplification is solid state...Strange.

Does anyone know what those short necked guitars are called? They make some really good sound. And steel guitars, too, I like them.
I guess this could be considered a favorite guitars post. If I need to talk about **** I got, I like my guitar, the "Squier" Fender. I like it, makes some alright sound, though I haven't heard it in forever. Kinda heavy/gritty sounding, I think. =/ |
