To some people here, just using the word is offensive in itself.
Best not to use it at all on these boards.
He wasn't banned for just that anyway, but for being unpleasant and obnoxious.

Um how is using it in the same context you'd use another negative word in not offensive?

But w/e it doesn't really matter so don't bother making another argument out of it.

No, but when the word in question is used people are reminded of the origins of that word, which is offensive.
