seems the company started in sweden in the early 1900s. there's also a connection to goya guitars in there as well but i'm not sure exactly what the relation is.
there are 2 levin guitars for sale on ebay at the moment. both run around $500. both are from the 50s, one is a goya classical guitar and the other is an archtop levin. it's hard to estimate the value of your instrument without knowing exactly what style and condition it's in (the model number doesn't really offer any insight). it's also hard to google information about that guitar without getting tons of hits for tony levin (a very prolific prog rock bassist). best guess is that it's worth a few hundred dollars, it would likely be more of a sentimental purchase for a collector than a 'must have' rarity. |
