I just replaced the strings on my acoustic for the first time, it's not hard at all. It would be cool to make them look nice, but it's not really necessary to have them glisten at the headstock for the instrument to play correctly. I recommend Dean Markley "Alchemy" strings - very vibrant and really strong. Just detune the instrument so that the remaining strings don't have any tension in them and disassemble the bridge pins to remove the remaining strings and installing the new ones is a snap. NOTE: Unless you want to look like the biggest douchebag ever, do NOT leave them untrimmed. Only the most retarded punks do that. |

You're kidding me?
The first time I picked a guitar up (many moons ago and probably not much older than the kid who posted this thread) I already had a rough idea that I was responsible for re-stringing the thing and on a regular basis. Seriously, what's next...a thread asking whether he should send it away to be tuned?

hi, there solitary blue... if your guitar is brand new I think it is covered by the warranty, but if it's not buy a new string that fits to your guitar their are lots of stores that sell those kind of strings. Let them fix for you, and ask some questions how to fixed it in case that will happen again...

Hey Right - Track!
Don't you think what's on the bottom of your posts is a bit too near the truth for them to take? Next they'll be hurling insults at you!
