How Do You Play Bass? (bass, band)

i could never really figure out how to slap without making it sound like someone taking a crap on the pickups. so basically......no, not me.

lol fair enough.... i do a bit of slap mostly for school and stuff tho.... it takes a bit of practice to get it right and i didnt figure it out for about 6 months...

I've done it a little, but I think for me to do it right, I would have to reset all my EQs on my amp. I don't really want to do that because I like how it sounds now and its not really worth the hassle just to play slap.

^ Yeah, suppose so, but I just don't like messing with my EQ. I always feel like it takes me forever to get it "just right" that I don't want to jeprodize its fragile existance. I should really put pencil marks on it like I used to, but I never have a pencil with me!
