why THE F*CK is Mickey Avalon on your list? ..and key indie bands like Pavement, Dinosaur Jr, Yo La Tengo, Sonic Youth..ectectectect... are NOT?!

I think overall it's an okay list, obviously people are always going to have problems with it and bands are going to be left off. I'm guessing it's mostly newer stuff which would excuse the fact Sonic Youth, Pavement etc aren't on there.
Although that Fratelli's vote, tssssk....
