Tip: Don't read Life of Pi. It's mediocre at best and is truly overrated.

Agreed. I loved Life of Pi. I thought it was creative, magical, quirky, and it said a lot about survival and faith etc. It was an adventure I liked it! Pretty sure it won the Man Booker Prize so obviously a lot of people think highly of it.

Lets start simple with a short story to work out the kinks, heard someone or a few folks suggest Vonnegut, a favorite of mine lets do it.

Harrison Bergeron

If you don't own it, here's a link to the complete text.

You have until Friday when we open up the discussion.

If you're posting in the music forums make sure to be thoughtful and expressive, if you're posting in the lounge ask yourself "is this something that adds to the conversation?" It's important to remember that a lot of people use each thread. You're probably not as funny or clever as you think, I know I'm not.

I'll get it on it so I can supply a Juvenile and uninformed perspective. I had to read this in LA.
