They are all slow, contemplative (even The Thin Red Line), but visually stunning and poetic. And his visuals are more than just an illustration for the story, it's his main tool of expression, music also. The New World is maybe not as good as 'Badlands' or 'The Thin Red Line', but it's still a very good film.



Now, that's a bad film and Brad Pitt, other than being eye candy, was completely awful in it. It's not so much that it's boring, it's just stupid.
