I don't know if I'd go as far to say that I'd be a 'different' person without music. However, perhaps I'm interpreting this too literally, lol (i.e, a different personality, interests, life course, etc).
I most definitely associate certain phases of my life with different artists, though. And of course a particular song can bring a flood of memories back. Same with songs that I remember speaking exactly what I was feeling at the time. So...if I can say anything at all with absolutely certainty, it's that I simply
wouldn't want to imagine my life without music.
