A bit of ill health and my youngest decided to drop my laptop and break the LCD screen so I managed to find a replacement screen and fit it which was daunting but I managed it in the end. There is a reason why major electrical retailers don't stock replacement screens- A) it's a pain in the arse to fit them and B) they want you to buy a new laptop instead of replacing a screen and so giving them extra revenue when you don't have to if you use the net for it's actual purpose: information.
