I think it`s the price putting people off Owen.

Madrid get him for £8 million , he spends most of the season on the subs bench & now he`s worth twice that?

I don`t think Newcastle will get him , I think Man Utd will see what Newcastle are offering (£11 million i hear) and improve on that so they don`t have to spend the £16 million Madrid are asking.
